Blackburn Rovers FC - 2026/27 Preview and Predictions
Reviewing 2025/26
Another poor season for the men from Ewood Park. They reached the heady heights of sixteenth in mid September and never got back to it or above it, spending most of the campaign flirting with relegation without ever actually getting dragged into it.
They finished 20th, five points clear of the drop but with three of the four clubs finishing below them being docked points, Rovers can consider themselves very lucky to still be members of the Championship.
Looking ahead to 2026/27
If Rovers are to improve in 26/27, it's clear they need to score more goals. They need a few new faces to help boost morale and yet, at time of writing, 3 players have left and only Moussa Baradji has arrived.
The bookies expect them to stay up but it's easy to make a case for them starting next season in League One. With the financial issues continuing behind the scenes, I can't see them having the clout to sign any further players.
Court Offside Tip

At 9/2 you have to say there is some serious value in Rovers relegation odds. A 4 and a half times return on your stake, betting on a team that frankly, were lucky not to go down last season, is something I simply couldn't resist. You may not see more value in a single bet all season long.
